2017 UI: OPS Movements & Handlings - Overview

As of 2017, a new user interface was introduced in FBO One. These screens are better designed for use on touch-screen and mobile devices, but have also been adapted for use on desktop.
In addition to the Classic view, there are now two additional views available - 'Handlings' and 'Movements' views.

Handlings View

The 'Handlings' view, displays one line per order, i.e. Arrival/Departure both on the same row, as is the case in the regular 'Classic' view.

Movements View

The 'Movements' view displays one line per flight sector, i.e. each order will show one line for the arrival and another for the departure.
When, for example, the arrival is complete, this line will no longer show and only the upcoming departure sector will be visible

Expanding Order Detail

In both the 'Handlings' and 'Movements' views, clicking on an order listed on the planboard, will expand it within the same screen.
This means that users can view order details, add services, print reports etc. without having to move away from the planboard into a separate order screen, as is the case in the Classic view. Some tasks however, such as editing an order will still re-direct users to the Classic view, but upon saving, users will be returned their default view.

Adjusting the Size of the Open Order Pane

To allow users more flexibility and the ability to see more or less detail on one screen, the first two panes may be adjusted.
The 'Make Wider' 'Make Narrower' buttons allow for this.

Using the 'Make wider' button, increases the width of the Order (middle) pane so that the order may be expanded, making it clearer to read. In expanding the Order pane, the Planboard pane is made narrower and less columns are visible:

Using the 'Make narrower' button, reduces the width of the Order pane and makes the planboard pane wider, with more columns visible.

Users may also use the 'X' buttons on the 2nd and 3rd columns to close one or both of these panes if required:
