Stock Locations (Fields)

A stock location has the following fuel related fields that can be edited in the Stock locations (Administration) page.

Stock locations

Fuel stock location, a truck, a hydrant cart or a tank.

SKU

The SKU for this stock location. A SKU defines the FBO and fuel type for this stock location. Mandatory field.

name

The name of the stock location. This may describe the fuel truck name, fuel storage location, or waste location, for example: JET TRUCK 1. Note that the location name may be different from the fuel meter name. Mandatory field.

Remark

Free text remarks for this stock location. This can include a description of the location. 

Capacity

The capacity expressed in the unit of measure for volume specified in the SKU. See SKU (Stock Keeping Units) (Fields)Mandatory field.

Show warning if stock falls below volume

The minimum stock for this stock location before an inventory warning shows in the Fuel 'Running stock' screen. This should be expressed in the unit of measure for volume specified in the SKU. Note: This value must be 0 or above for all stock locations for the same stock management organization, for gauges in the 'Stock totals' screen to show. Stock management organization

Organization that owns or controls the stock. Typically equal to the SKU's FBO administration owner. See SKU (Stock Keeping Units) (Fields).

Is active

Indicates if the stock location is active and can be selected.

Is hydrant cart

Fuel running through a hydrant cart is flowing from the main stock location of the SKU, defined by the 'Main stock location' SKU field. See SKU (Stock Keeping Units) (Fields)



Delivery meters

Defines the meters for a stock location such as a fuel truck.

Name

The name of the meter for the selected stock location. For example, EMR3. Mandatory field.

Unit of measure for quantity per tick

The unit of volume for each increment (or tick) of the meter. See Units (Administration)Mandatory field.

Quantity per smallest increment (tick)

The smallest increment of volume represented by the lowest digit on the meter including any decimals. For example, 1.00 or 0.1 Mandatory field.

Quantity per tick description

The quantity name displayed when entering a fuel ticket, useful for explaining unit of measure. For example, USG or 0.1USG. 

Maximum tick count

The maximum meter count. For example, 9999999 for a mechanical meter that has 7 digits. Mandatory field.

Tick box to enable the auto-fill of the meter end value based on meter start value + quantity

Tick box to allow fuel purchases to increase meter readings

Ignore flow-back meter gap smaller or equal than ticks

The increment flow-back amount ignored if there is a gap in the meter count. For example, a mechanical meter may have fuel flowing backward or forward after an uplift, resetting the meter count with 1 tick. This can appear in the system as a warning message when entering fuel tickets as there are small gaps in meter readings between tickets. Mandatory field.

Minimum flow rate in l/min

If non-blank, the user will be prompted to enter the flow rate (liter per min) in the fuel ticket screen. If the value entered is below the minimum value the system will display a warning on incorrect value

MAXimum flow rate in l/min

If non-blank, the user will be prompted to enter the flow rate (liter per min) in the fuel ticket screen. If the value entered is above the maximum value the system will display a warning on incorrect value

Minimum differential pressure in PSI 

If non-blank, the user will be prompted to enter the differential pressure (PSI) in the fuel ticket screen. If the value entered is below the minimum value the system will display a warning on incorrect value

Maximum differential pressure in PSI 

If non-blank, the user will be prompted to enter the differential pressure (psi) in the fuel ticket screen. If the value entered is below the maximum value the system will display a warning on incorrect value

MeterNumber

The number of the meter for this stock location. For example, for two delivery meters added: 1 and 2. Mandatory field.
