Units (Fields)

A unit code has the following fields that can be edited in the unit code section in Units (Administration).

UnitCode

The code shown in the system and on the handling order.

Description

The description of the unit. 

SortIndex

Sort order, used in unit select boxes.

DurationInSeconds

If the unit code is a time unit, this value is used by FBO One to be able to convert it to minutes, or any other time unit. A unit can only have a single dimension (duration, weight, volume or distance).

WeightInKilos

If the unit code is a weight unit, this value is used by FBO One to be able to convert it to kilograms, or any other weight unit. A unit can only have a single dimension (duration, weight, volume or distance).

VolumeInLiters

If the unit code is a volume unit, this value is used by FBO One to be able to convert it to liters, or any other volume unit. A unit can only have a single dimension (duration, weight, volume or distance).

DistanceInMeters

If the unit code is a distance unit, this value is used by FBO One to be able to convert it to meters, or any other distance unit. A unit can only have a single dimension (duration, weight, volume or distance).

AreaInM2

If the unit code is an area unit, this value is used by FBO One to be able to convert to area in metre squared, or any other area unit. A unit can only have a single dimension (duration, weight, volume or distance).

IsNormalizedToNet

Used for fuel to calculate the net volume at 15C or the default density. The quantity entered is converted based upon the density entered for the fuel ticket. Or, if the density is not specified, the temperature is used to calculate the factor needed for conversion.
