Price reference date (Glossary)

The price reference date is the date used as the transaction date of the order in price calculations. It can be used to filter for reporting as well. This date can influence pricing, as price agreements and exchange rates can change from day to day.

The price reference date is usually departure or arrival date, whichever is last. (usually departure, except for arrival only or home operator orders).

For OTC orders without flight legs, the price reference date is the start or end date, whichever is last. (usually the end date)

If such a date is not available, the order create date is used.

For services with a delivery date, the delivery date is used as the price reference date.
